Port Augusta Cultural Centre - Yarta Purtli Gallery
Established in 2008, the gallery offers a diverse range of exhibitions including local artworks as well as touring exhibitions. New exhibitions are on display each month and the Gallery provides a variety of workshops, artist talks and other activities in addition to the dynamic exhibition program.
The Cultural Centre also incorporates the Institute Theatre and the fabulous outdoor venue, The Barracks. Both venues are available for hire and host a range of shows and events each year. The Lea Theatre can also be booked through the Cultural Centre.
Community arts development assistance is also available to local arts organisations, community groups and artists through the Arts Officer position which is jointly funded between Port Augusta City Council and Country Arts SA.
